Here are a pair of Rodfathers helping to load Wayne
Miller's blown 350 engine for its trip to Gary 's. Wayne had purchased a nice 54 Pontiac with a small block in an otherwise stock chassis.

This is the blown motor awaiting it's new home.

Here is the stock 350 we were taking out. Some rats nest type wiring would need some repair also as some one had wired all the gauges to stay on all the time! The car had a master battery disconnect switch to shut off all power to the vehicle and it had been bypassed. A dead battery every couple of days was the result.

Here we have the blower motor going in. That is the owner Wayne Miller guiding it in. This is the only photo we have of Wayne working on his own car. How did he manage that? He didn't bring that much beer!

This is our pinstriper Wilf working on some lettering on the 54. He added a lot of detail striping as well as the name Blown 54 on the trunk lid.
This photo does not show all the details such as the flames inside the lettering.
Pinstriping was added around the flames and in other spots on the car as Wilf decided look correct.
Trunk detailing was added, but would give way to more elaborate painting later.
A detailed garage scene was added. If you look close enough you will see the Gary 's Hot Rods name over the shop door with Wayne 's 2 54 Pontiacs in front of the shop. The scene on the right is a drive in theatre with a 32 Ford on the screen and all the other Rodfather's cars parked in front.

Just a nice overall view of the finished car.
